The Three Principles of Mind, Thought, and Consciousness, as identified by Sydney Banks, illuminate who we truly are as human beings. These Principles offer the world hope and guidance in understanding human psychological functioning and how to foster positive change. Community members will share insights that have totally shifted their lives, providing a richness of experience unparalleled to their past understanding.
BENEFITS: This retreat is for anyone would like to greet autumn with a wonderful feeling of community and individual wholeness. Whether you were introduced to the Principles years ago, or whether you have no idea what is meant by Mind, Thought, and Consciousness, everyone will have the opportunity to look at their present lives with less stressful thoughts and feelings.
RETREAT FORMAT: The format will include both large and small groups so that everyone will have a chance to share their insights and explore their questions. Those individuals who were introduced to the Principles years ago will attest to the fact that new insights are always available, and often are shared by those hearing the Principles for the first time. Syd Banks reminded us that understanding the Principles was a matter of the heart, not the intellect. Because of the nature of the Principles, they do not lend themselves to the traditional methods of education. The learning happens via insight rather than memory.
